The Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative (CHAI), an NGO striving to make HIV/AIDS care more affordable and implementing integrated care, support and treatment programs, seeks candidates to fill “Laboratory Program Officer” to be based in Papua, Indonesia.
The Laboratory Program Officer provides high-quality technical support and programmatic assistance to the public health care laboratories to enable greater numbers of patients to access HIV testing and laboratory support for ART treatment and monitoring. S/he will assist CHAI and MOH collaborative laboratory programs as needed with assessments, training, system design, problem solving, trouble-shooting and quality monitoring for selected laboratories in Papua and Papua Barat provinces.
Experience in managing laboratories, developing and monitoring the efficiency networks, laboratory best practices, technical knowledge and experience of HIV testing, CD4 counting, screening of opportunistic infection and PCR applications are definitely preferred.
